About Halston Arthouse

Halston Arthouse is a digital arthouse — a curated online museum for artwork that lives on the internet. Artists bring us a piece hosted on IPFS, a title, and a few words about the work. A guided docent walks them through filing it, a curatorial description is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human curator, and the accepted work is hung in the collection with a wall label: its medium, its year, its edition number and token ID.

The museum exhibits; it does not mint and it does not take ownership. Edition numbers and token IDs here are wall labels, not blockchain tokens. Every artist keeps their work, their rights, and their NFT entirely. Nothing is sold through this site, and no commission is taken on anything shown here.

It is built for artists working in digital, generative, photographic, sculptural and moving-image forms who want a considered exhibition space rather than a marketplace feed — and for visitors who would rather walk a small, deliberately chosen collection than scroll an endless one. Two-dimensional works hang flat; sculptures, buildings and installations are presented on a slowly turning plinth so their depth reads on a screen.

Halston Arthouse is built and curated by its founder, formerly of the fashion blog Postmodern Royalty — the same eye, better lighting. The curator reviews every submission personally, answers artists directly, and is accountable for every AI-assisted output the museum publishes. AI use is disclosed wherever it appears and governed in alignment with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 42001.
