Tell the docent about your work and it will take you through the file, the metadata, the edition, and the filing — one step at a time.
The docent is an AI tool at your disposal — it never files anything without your say-so, and a human curator reviews every submission. The work is yours, and it stays yours.
How These Tools Are Governed
The minting tools are operated under the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 42001. In plain terms:
- You are talking to AI
- The docent is an AI assistant, not a person. Every draft it writes is labelled as AI-assisted, and you approve the wording before anything is filed.
- You stay in control
- Nothing is submitted without your explicit confirmation, and you can stop, edit, or do the whole thing yourself on the form at any point.
- A human decides
- A curator reviews every filed submission. The AI never approves, ranks, rejects, or profiles you — it only helps you assemble your own submission.
- Only what is needed
- The docent collects your work details plus a name and email for correspondence. No biometrics, no sensitive traits, no emotion inference, no automated scoring.
- Logged and reviewed
- This tool is on the museum’s AI inventory with a documented risk tier, controls, and periodic governance reviews.
